Kidding! Â April Fools’!
Never was, ever! Much to the consternation of my parents, and maybe even one or two would-be (guy) sweeties in high school, whose identities were only revealed to me years later by my sister, to whom they confessed their love-lorneness. Â Who knew.Â
And before we go, I can’t help but leave you with this, sent around to friends this time of year by my chum (and regular LD commenter) Ann Z:
Â
Why is it so funny to me?
Does the lil’ monkey think its funny?
(Where does that apostrophe go in “lil” anyway?)
I don’t know, but I hope maybe somebody else might help us figure this out. The yin-yang incongruity. It kills me. But then again, I’m far from objective on this.
I have that chocolate bunny picture on a t-shirt. And it cracks me up every time I look at it. It bums me out that I can only wear it for a couple weeks a year (not to the exclusion of all other shirts, but as part of my possible non-working wardrobe, you know…never mind). At least my sense of humor hasn’t sunk completely to the level of the riddles printed on popsicle sticks. (and now I will have the phrase, “My butt hurts!” running through my head for the rest of the evening)
